Making wing bags
What are those lovely but slightly expensive wingbags made from ?
Something called Vitrex supposedly which can be purchased in large rolls from homebase
This has a soft interior and can be stitched together to protect & match your favourite gliders. It will also protect from the sun.
Other alternatives are to keep an eye our for cheap foam sleeping mats and do something similar
The general advice is not to use standard radiator insulation as it is hard, will scratch surfaces and can leave aluminium residue on your pristine surfaces (thanks, Mike Evans)
Lots of useful discussions (as always) on BARCS Forums where the above advice was "borrowed" from a few topics
There are specialised carrier bags made by a number of manufactures but are more expensive.
